Spotify Canvas – Final Cut Pro Guide

Spotify Requirements

An MP4 file with vertical 9:16 aspect ratio.

Final Cut Pro

1. File -> New -> Project
2. In the project window, choose Video format —> Custom – 1080×1920 (Final Cut’s “vertical” setting does not work with Spotify)
3. Create video to be 8 seconds or shorter.
4. File -> Share -> Export File
5. In the Export window, go to the “Settings” tab.
6. Change the Format to “Computer”.
7. Now open your Spotify Artists account and select the “Music” tab.
8. Click the song you want to add the video to and then click “Manage Canvas” at the top right corner.
9. Upload your video and you are finished.
